Welcome information and timetables
We’re following advice from Universities UK, Public Health England and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to ensure that the campus is ready for your arrival.
We're committed to providing the best student experience possible while also recognising your health, safety and wellbeing are of paramount importance.
As we approach Welcome, we’ll send you further information about your timetables, course structures and where you need to be, so keep a lookout.
In the meantime, the Alliance MBS Postgraduate Programmes Team will be on hand to answer any queries you may have about your time in Manchester.
You can read more at Get ready.
You should frequently check Blackboard and your University email address for the latest information and accessible Welcome timetables.
It is expected that students will attend all of their course's induction events.
University-level Welcome events can be booked onto by following the link at the bottom of this page. Please ensure that any events you book onto don't clash with any course-specific induction events.
IT set-up and your University email
Firstly, you will need to set-up your IT account and get your username. You need this username to access any of the University’s IT facilities.
Whilst you’re a student at Alliance MBS, we’ll send essential information to your student email address. These emails contain everything from employment opportunities to urgent deadlines, so check your email regularly.
We’d strongly encourage you to add your University email account to your phone. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the IT website.
Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any questions about starting your studies with us.
We are here for you throughout the summer and up until your arrival.
Our social media platforms aim to keep our students informed and engaged with anything that’s happening at AMBS. You can also reach out to us if you have any questions or feedback you’d like to give. Here’s where to find us:
