Welcome information and timetables
We’re following advice from Universities UK, Public Health England and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to ensure that the campus is ready for your arrival.
We're committed to providing the best student experience possible while also recognising your health, safety and wellbeing are of paramount importance.
As we approach Welcome, we’ll send you more and more information, so keep a lookout.
In the meantime, the Alliance MBS Undergraduate Programmes Team will be on hand to answer any queries you may have about your time in Manchester.
You can read more at Get ready.
IT set-up and your University email
Firstly, you will need to set-up your IT account and get your username. You need this username to access any of the University’s IT facilities.
Whilst you’re a student at Alliance MBS, we’ll send essential information to your student email address. These emails contain everything from employment opportunities to urgent deadlines, so check your email regularly.
We’d strongly encourage you to add your University email account to your phone. Instructions on how to do this can be found on the IT website.

We have a dedicated Student Support and Guidance Team who will be introduced to you during Welcome.
They will be there to help you, offer advice, guidance and support on any issues that may affect your ability to study and can also signpost you to other support services within the University, such as the Disability Advisory and Support Service (DASS) or the Counselling Service.
They are there to help you access the support you need and in other wellbeing matters regarding physical or mental health.
If you wish to contact a member of the Student Support and Guidance Team before you start your course, please do not hesitate to email Student Support and Engagement Officer Pauliina at firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy to advise you on how to access the right sources of support.
There are a number of ways that you can get in touch with us and stay up-to-date with the latest news and information.
