Your first week
Monday 11 September 2023 marks the start of the University’s online Welcome programme. You will receive further details about activities taking place that week to welcome you to Manchester.
Your first day of the Foundation Year programme induction is Monday 18 September 2023. This marks the start of your programme-specific induction, where you’ll be welcomed to the programme by Professor Elly Cartwright, the Academic Lead for our pre-medical and pre-dental programmes.
The majority of the events during this at week will take place face-to-face on the University campus.
The Foundation Programme is taught within the School of Medical Sciences in partnership with Xaverian College. You will get an opportunity to visit the Xaverian College during the course-specific Welcome week (week commencing 18 September).
