We're looking forward to welcoming you to Manchester to start your postgraduate degree with us.

We know you'll have lots of questions about preparing for your studies and what will happen once the semester starts.

Welcome and induction information

We'll be in touch with you about what you need to know closer to the start of the year, including details of welcome and induction events and activities for your course.

This includes an email that we will send to you when you need to complete online introductory courses in areas such as health and safety as part of your induction programme. You can also look out for these courses when they are added to Blackboard, our online learning platform, after you have registered as a student.

MSc Health Informatics

For students starting the MSc Health Informatics course, please note that this course is delivered in partnership with UCL.

Throughout the course, you will have access to expertise from both institutions, and you'll be taught in Manchester and London. Your induction programme will take place at Manchester.
