Alliance Manchester Business School (Undergraduate)
Welcome to undergraduate study at Alliance Manchester Business School (Alliance MBS).
Welcome messages
Welcome timetables and information
You are invited to attend some events for your programme during Welcome week, which begins on Monday, 22 September.
These sessions are a great opportunity for you to get to know the lecturers who will be teaching you during your time at Manchester, to meet your peers and to get to know the opportunities that AMBS has to offer.
Your Welcome Week programme timetables for academic year 25/26 will be published on this page by Wednesday, 20 August.
The full timetable of Welcome week will also be listed on the AMBS Undergraduate Handbook.
Please ensure you have activated your IT account to enable you to access University systems, including your University email. You will also receive an email from the University inviting you to register as a student. We strongly suggest you do this before arriving in Manchester. You can start to register online from Monday, 1 September and we recommend that you register as soon as possible.
In addition to your programme timetable, there will be University-wide Welcome activities as well as Students' Union events to help you meet people and settle into our community.
Check out the What's on during Welcome page to find out about other activities happening around campus.

The AMBS Undergraduate Handbook is the main source of information about your programme, studies and available support throughout your degree.
We recommend saving the online handbook as a favourite, or adding it to your bookmarks to give you easy access whenever you need it.
We have collated information about the tools and systems that you need for your studies, as well as other essential resources.
This includes how to use Canvas as your central learning environment, how to access your timetable, how to access Library support and resources, and many more.
