Student representatives

Student Reps act as a formal channel of communication between yourself and the teaching and administrative staff.

The role of a Rep is therefore extremely important and provides students with a voice to raise problems or concerns and to input into the design and delivery of their degree.

They listen to your thoughts and ideas about your course, and feed this back to the School. By telling your Student Rep how you are feeling about your course, they can drive positive change within the University to make sure you are getting the best experience you can while at The University of Manchester.

How can I become a Rep?

During the first weeks of the academic year, students on some courses will have the chance to nominate themselves as a student rep. The Hub team will pop along to some of your welcome/teaching sessions with further information on how you can get involved.

This is a fantastic opportunity to input into your programme, gain valuable experience and boost your CV. We look forward to having lots of you onboard!
