Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks

A condition of your entry onto the MBChB course is for an enhanced DBS check to take place.

Common questions 

What if I haven't received my DBS disclosure certificate back before my first day on the Foundation Year programme?

DBS checks will be verified electronically. In the unlikely event that you have yet to receive your DBS certificate by the time you start the programme, you will be required to complete a disclaimer form upon arrival.

I am an international student. Is there anything I need to bring?

You will have already provided a letter of good conduct or police check as part of your application process. This is in place of a DBS check.

Assuming you completed the requirements in terms of your letter of good conduct/police check, there is nothing further you need to do.

I have completed my DBS application form, but I am worried I may have missed declaring something. How do I know what should be declared?
