Welcome to all of our new students arriving at The University of Manchester.

A warm welcome from the Academic Lead

I want to say a big hello from everyone involved in The University of Manchester Foundation Year Programme for Medicine and Dentistry.

We are really looking forward to welcoming and meeting you at the start of your programme in a few weeks' time.

During the coming academic year, we are going to build your scientific knowledge, expose you to different styles of teaching and learning, and guide you to develop the skills needed to make a smooth and successful transition to the MBChB or BDS programmes.

It will be hard work – but I promise that it is going to be fun!
