Peer-assisted study sessions (PASS)

Peer-assisted study sessions (PASS) are a student-led initiative for first years to attend.

The sessions focus on maths skills and are run by PASS Leaders who are second, third and fourth-year students.

Pharmaceutical calculations are a big part of the curriculum throughout all four years of the course, and these sessions are designed for students who may be struggling and need extra advice and guidance.

The sessions aren't compulsory, but are open to all first year students. We have found that these sessions are very beneficial to students, and we have seen a considerable rise in students passing the calculation elements of exams.
