Where we are

During your first few weeks, you will need to familiarise yourself with the campus, your main areas of study and where your accommodation is in relation to everything else in the city and on campus.

See the maps below for more information.

Stopford Building

The Division of Pharmacy and Optometry is based in the Stopford Building, which is number 79 on your campus map.

The Stopford Building is also home to some of the other divisions from the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health.

In our opinion we have one of the best locations on campus. The Stopford Building is in the centre of campus with banks, coffee shops, newsagents and eateries all on our doorstep.

We are situated directly opposite Manchester Academy with the Students' Union and Contact Theatre only a minute's stroll away, and Manchester's famous Curry Mile only a five-minute bus journey down the road.

Other buildings

On the campus map, the Student Services Centre is building number 57 (off Burlington Street) and the University of Manchester Library is building number 55 (situated at the end of Burlington Street).
